Why DataJourneyHQ exists
We build tools, teach what works, and learn in public. Community connects it all.
The beginning
It began as a demo exploring what thoughtful design could look like.
DataJourney Toolkit became a place to build, share, and improve in the open.
What we learn building systems becomes teaching in DJHQ Academy.
How it stays alive
Open source inspires the work. Real problems shape the tools. We bring the lessons back to Academy and community, so the next build starts further along.
One example from the blogBill se Khata at Ruby’sRead the story Start with the work people need done. Decide where AI helps and where a person stays in control.
Our approach to designDefine what AI can read, change, and act on. We learned this discipline through GitHub’s Secure Open Source Fund.
Our year of security workTest with real inputs and failure cases. Make human review clear before the system goes live.
